Argentine Tango Lessons Atlanta, GA
There are a few activities that are more fun then taking dance lessons. Dancing allows you to exercise, enjoy music, and company of fellow dancers at the same time. It can be very theraputic on a physical as well as an emotional level. It is a great opportunity to provide a good balance in our hectic Atlanta schedules, whether you are single, have a partner, or married...

Intermediate Intensive Tango at Take Hold:
Cost of Saturday Intermediate Intensive Tango Class and Practica - $12 with a $60 5-class card, or $15 without a card. The best ways to learn and improve our Tango skill is to practice tango technique and movements as much as possible. One hour of class time often is not enough for most folks, unless one was born with Tango Shoes on their feet :). Which is why we have a 90-minute class for Intermediate level Tango dancers. The first half-hour, Tango Technique, is dedicated to in-depth work on topics like quality of footwork, connection between partners, staying with the music among others. After that we move on to Tango Elements (or steps) part of the class with emphasis of technique as well. A half-hour Practica complets our class and allows you to practice and put into a muscle memory the material you just learned. Dancers of all "Intermediate" and "Advanced" levels will find Tango Bohemia Intermediate Classes in Atlanta useful. Whether you are dancing for a year, or ten years - there is always something in your dance that can be improved, polished, or perfected. Argentine Tango is not a destination, it is a jorney. Serios Tango dancers should always stay on this jorney. The moment we we decide we no longer need to take Tango classes is the moment we not only stop growing, but we start regressing... The most effective way to learn Argentine Tango (or any discipline for that matter) is by having one-on-one instruction. This allows students to advance at their own pace - breezing through some topics that you pickup fast, and taking extra time on anything that requires more individual attention. We have a two-tiered approach to Private Lessons. If you are interested in working on a limited number of things in your dance, you can purchase a few hours of our Private Tango Instruction. For those of you interested in a comprehensive approach to Tango we offer an economical option of a Six-hour Private Lesson card to be used at your convinience.
Studio Fee is $12/hour.

| There are three dances in the family of social Argentine Tango: tango (4/4 timing), milonga (2/4 timing), and tango-vals (3/4 timing). Examples of them can be found on our Video page. Students usually start with the most common of them - tango, as most elements of tango can be used in vals and milonga as well.
