First Dance at WeddingDance Lessons in Atlanta, GAWe all know that one of the most important moments at the wedding ...Traditionally, the preparation for the First Dance at a wedding involves hiring a professional ballroom dance instructor. It takes time and money to learn the choreography, since most newlyweds are not dance professionals. While dancing is a fun activity, memorizing steps to music can be stressful, frustrating, and time-consuming for most couples. It is especially true at a time when a bride and groom-to-be are burdened with so many other last minute plans. You no longer need to feel frustrated over your "two left feet"! Consider an easier, no pressure way to get ready for your First Dance:
Hello! My name is Ilya, and I would like to offer you completely stress-free dance lessons in Atlanta for that special First Dance at your wedding reception. You will have fun and enjoy the learning process. You will enjoy dancing at your reception as well! You won't have to "sweat bullets" while trying to remember the choreography ...when all eyes are on you and your partner. Working together with me won't take much time or drain your budget. Even if you are getting close to that special date, you could be ready in just a few weeks or less. Sometimes all a bride and groom-to-be will need is about five hours of dance instruction. This training will give you the confidence to dance to almost any song or on any floor - indoors or outdoors. It is next to impossible to make a mistake using my method of dancing.
I teach Argentine Tango in Atlanta. No, you won't have to learn Tango for your wedding - you may choose any song you like. We will work on you dancing to the music of your choice. But I will use the priciples of Tango to teach you the basics of dance: how to lead, how to follow, how to hear the music, and how to connect and move with each other. I know this method works, as I have been involved in the dance world for fifteen years. I understand about the choreography. But I also understand about improvising in a dance, when you really want to do "your own thing". I know how to teach you so that your First Dance is fun and stress-free. I provide the First Dance instruction at my place, or Take Hold studio. You can choose the music, or I can make suggestions. Feel free to select a traditional style, or an alternative first dance. You will learn the ideas of my teaching method, enabling you to quickly grasp the fundamentals of dancing with a partner. You just apply these ideas to your dance...
Ok, let's do it! Enjoy the learning process and your First Dance as well! Let me help you make it enjoyable, stress-free, and memorable. You will radiate confidence and look as elegant and dreamy and you feel... (about the instructor in Atlanta, GA)

The "first dance" at the reception of a newly married couple is an important part of traditional wedding celebrations in both modern European and American cultures.Traditionally, the first dance between the bride and groom has been the Waltz. Today more popular dances include the Foxtrot, Merengue, and Swing. Also many couples opt for an alternative "slow dance". |

1. Your song doesn't have to be full length - we can always cut it to your preference, or even speed it up or slow it down a bit. 2. If you are not sure which song to choose, you can practice to a few songs and then decide which one "speaks" to you. 3. Certain adjustments to the dance between a bride and groom may be required based on the design of the bride's dress. 4. It is helpful for the bride and groom-to-be to spend a couple of hours practicing in their actual wedding shoes to break them in before the wedding reception. 5. It is good to know the size of the dance floor at a reception so we'd know whether to practice for a traveling dance or for a spot dance. |
