Argentine Tango Lessons with Personality

Ilya, the founder of Tango Bohemia, has studied and practiced partner dancing since 1993, with the last 9 years dedicated entirely to Argentine Tango.

Ilya believes that teaching others is a privilege, and he approaches it with care and responsibility. To hone his skill as an instructor, he entered the International Tango Teacher Training program at a renowned Tango Center ‘El Corte’.

Ilya is the only Tango teacher in Atlanta, GA, and one out two in North America who completed both levels of the program – in 2006 & 2007.

Ilya’s goal is to have the finest school of Argentine Tango in Atlanta which provides a friendly and fun social and learning experience.

Ilya’s approach and training enable him to create a class environment that gently conveys important aspects of Tango dance to students, while keeping classes fun, fast paced, and easy going. There is time for learning, socializing, and light humor :) (more on |Tango Lessons| page)

Our  location is convenient to get to by car and is near Brookhaven MARTA Station. It is close to Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, East Cobb, Chamblee, Doraville, Norcross, Tucker, Roswell, Alpharetta. Many other areas of Metro Atlanta are close to our Tango school as well. We also have students coming from Marietta, Smyrna, Vinings, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, too many cities to list…

This site will give you a basic primer on Tango history, music, and its traditions. You can learn much more about Argentine Tango by searching the Web, reading books and listening to the CDs.
